The Black-Eyed Susan Book Award is a unique opportunity for Maryland students to have their voices heard by choosing the best in contemporary literature. Since 1992, it has inspired readers to discover powerful stories, explore new perspectives, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
Read three Black-Eyed Susan books in any one category and enjoy a pizza party during the Voting Celebration in April!
To qualify, students must read and review at least three Black-Eyed Susan books in one of the five categories:
Students who meet the requirements will be invited to the voting celebration in April.
